Erling Haaland reacts to Manchester City's Club World Cup exit

Manchester City striker Erling Haaland shared his thoughts on the match against Al Hilal in the Club World Cup round of 16. He posted a message on his Instagram page following the game.
Haaland uploaded photos from the clash with the Saudi club and captioned them, "Didn’t go our way this time around. Congrats to Al Hilal and best of luck ahead 🙏🏻."
Erling Haaland managed to get on the scoresheet, but his goal wasn’t enough to secure a win for his side. Manchester City suffered a shock defeat in the opening playoff round to Saudi Arabia’s Al Hilal, crashing out of the tournament. The English champions lost in a thrilling and emotional encounter in extra time, with a lively scoreline of 3-4.
Next, the Saudis will face another surprise contender for the title, Brazil’s Fluminense, who overcame Inter Milan in their own round of 16 tie. This quarter-final showdown will take place on July 4 in Orlando, at Camping World Stadium.
