Edouard Mendy treats children from his former clubs to a dream experience
A gesture of gratitude
The Senegalese goalkeeper invited 100 children from the clubs where he trained to attend the international friendly between Senegal and Peru, played on 28 March at the Stade de France.
70 children from Le Havre Caucriauville and 30 from CSSM Le Havre were invited to the match, which took place in a festive atmosphere in Paris. The children saw the Africa Cup of Nations trophy paraded before kick-off of the match between Senegal and Peru. Edouard Mendy even took a photo with the children he had invited, holding the Africa Cup of Nations trophy in his hands.
