Durban City chairman Farouk Kadodia reveals the club's three signings were done in consultation with coach Ben Youssef Khalil
Farouk Kadodia has disclosed that all the Durban City's latest signings were done in consultation with the head coach Ben Youssef Khalil.
Durban City has signed Gaston Sirino and Tashreeq Morris, who worked with the coach at Kaizer Chiefs last season and also brought in Bandile Shandu who was released by Orlando Pirates.
While other teams have always signed players without the coach's input but Kadodia said this was not the case at the Kwa-Zulu Natal side.
"I think we signed three players before the coach came to Durban and every other player that we signed is in consultation with the coach. The first ones are ex Chiefs players Gaston Sirino and Tashreeq Morris, Shandu Bandile from Orlando Pirates, basically those are the first three players that he targeted," revealed Kadodia.
The Nedbank Cup holders will start the Betway Premiership season away against Sekhukhune United.
