Ben Youssef Khalil unhappy with Durban City's 1-0 loss to Sekhukhune United but confident of better results they will turn the corner

Ben Yousseff Kahlil has decided not to put his head down after his Durban City side lost 1-0 to Sekhukhune United in their Betway Premiership opening match.

Khalil said the team's overall performance impressed even though they had a myriad of chances to score from and win the game.

“Unfortunately Morris got two opportunities with his head he was unlucky to not score. But like I said the most important thing is the performance of the players,” said Khalil.

“I’m happy about the performance. I know the result wasn’t good, but it’s the first game and still a lot of games to play and I’m proud about the players. The result will come after.”
