Luciano Spalletti has decided to step down as head coach of the Italy national team, reports Fabrizio Romano.
Details: In their last World Cup qualifier against Norway, the Italians completely collapsed, suffering a heavy 3-0 defeat.
On Tuesday, after the match against Moldova, Spalletti was scheduled to meet with FIGC president Gravina to discuss his future, but he chose to make the decision himself and leave the Italy squad.
