The French national team could face the loss of one of its brightest young talents ahead of the second friendly on their American tour.

Details: According to L'Équipe, PSG midfielder Desire Doue is at risk of missing out on a starting spot for the match against Colombia, which is set to take place this Sunday in Washington. The reason is sudden back pain that the player experienced during training on Friday evening.

Les Bleus' head coach Didier Deschamps had planned a radical squad rotation after the emotional 2-1 victory over Brazil on Thursday. Deschamps wanted to change almost all eleven starters in order to test the bench, and the 20-year-old Doue was viewed as the main option for the left flank of the attack.

However, now the national team's medical staff is questioning whether he should feature in the match so as not to aggravate the injury.

Doue's situation is forcing the coaching staff to reconsider their tactical approach.

It's worth noting that the match is scheduled to kick off on Sunday, March 29 at 21:00 Central European Time.

Reminder: Brazil head coach Carlo Ancelotti, after the match against France, spoke about Raphinha's injury.
