Didier Deschamps could be heading for a spectacular return to club football after his long spell with the French national team.

Details: According to La Stampa, Juventus are considering the former France head coach as a potential replacement for Luciano Spalletti, whose future has become increasingly uncertain following another disappointing result. The Turin giants suffered a 2-0 defeat against Genoa on Wednesday, intensifying the pressure on their current manager.

The Italian newspaper reports that initial contacts have already been established regarding Deschamps' possible return. The Frenchman is currently available after ending his 14-year tenure with the France national team, and intermediaries have reportedly informed Juventus of his willingness to consider the opportunity.

Juventus have slipped to eighth place in Serie A after suffering three defeats in their opening nine league matches. Spalletti apologised to supporters following the setback against Genoa, although he remains convinced that he can turn the situation around. Antonio Conte and Stefano Pioli have also emerged as possible alternatives.

Deschamps knows Turin extremely well, having represented Juventus as a player between 1994 and 1999 before returning as head coach in 2006. However, no agreement regarding a possible second spell has been announced.

It's worth noting that Deschamps previously guided Juventus back to Serie A in 2007, securing promotion immediately after the club's relegation to the second division following the Calciopoli scandal.
