Ipswich Town are working on appointing Gary O’Neil as the club’s new head coach.
Details: According to The Athletic, the club is close to finalizing talks to bring in the Strasbourg manager.
Ipswich have been negotiating with BlueCo—the company that owns both Strasbourg and London side Chelsea. Reports indicate that the talks have been positive.
It is expected that O’Neil could bring close assistants from his current staff to the new club.
The appointment has not yet been made official, but Ipswich are already working on the final details of the deal. It’s worth noting that Gary O’Neil is currently tied to Strasbourg, which is part of the BlueCo group along with Chelsea.
