Karl Etta Eyong is set to join Ipswich Town
The Cameroonian striker could leave La Liga for the Premier League this summer.
Ipswich Town are looking to strengthen their squad ahead of their return to the Premier League. One of the targets for the club, which has been promoted to the English top flight for the 2026–2027 season, is Karl Etta Eyong. The Cameroonian, who currently plays for Levante, has caught the eye of the English club.
Ipswich Town are therefore reported to have begun the process of securing the Cameroonian international’s transfer. Talks are said to have begun between the English club and Levante. Although no agreement has yet been announced, Karl Etta Eyong is keen to join the Premier League.
However, his club Levante, with whom he is under contract until 2029, are hoping for between £25 and £30m before releasing him. Karl Etta Eyong has scored six goals and provided two assists for Levante this season in La Liga.
