Czechia coach Miroslav Koubek hopes the MErcedez Benz Stadium will be closed for their clash against South Africa as he fears the heat
Miroslav Koubek is hoping the Mercedes Benz Stadium will be closed for Czechia's World Cup clash against South Africa.
The Czechia coach said the heat in USA is unbearable and calls for organisers to close the roof for the Group A match.
Koubek pleaded for the roof at the Mercedes-Benz Stadium to be closed to mitigate any heat concerns.
"It's important that they close the roof for us against South Africa. Playing in that heat is a bit scary," he said, according to Czech outlet Denik.
South Africa and Czechia face each other tomorrow in their second match in the group having both lost their opening games against Mexico and South Korea, respectively.
Teh Czechia have no any other concern except for the weather as they have been vocal about how they want to win this tie.
South Africa are also not different as they want to win to ensure they stand a chance to go to the next round.
The match tomorrow starts at 6pm South African time.
