Real Madrid were beaten by Bayern Munich in their UEFA Champions League quarter-final tie, but one of the Madrid side’s stars moved closer to a club legend.

Details: Kylian Mbappé found the net against the Munich side, and the strike was his 70th goal in the UEFA Champions League. He has now closed in on Real Madrid legend Raúl, who scored 71 goals. However, any chase for the record will have to wait until next season, as Real have been eliminated.

It was also revealed after the match that the Real Madrid head coach clarified who he believes was responsible for the game unraveling.

As previously reported, Eduardo Camavinga came on in the second half. He received his first yellow card in the 78th minute and then, just eight minutes later, a second. What’s more, the second yellow card was rash and unnecessary.

Reminder: Immediately after the final whistle, emotions were still running high, and Real Madrid players sought to confront the referee.
