Real Madrid travelled to face Bayern Munich in a UEFA Champions League quarter-final clash, and a puzzling incident involving one of the Spanish side’s players unfolded late in the game.
Details: Eduardo Camavinga came on during the second half. He picked up his first yellow card in the 78th minute, and just eight minutes later received a second.
The second booking came after he prevented Bayern from restarting play, picking the ball up and throwing it aside. The referee deemed it unsporting behaviour.
Reminder: Earlier in the match, Bayern goalkeeper Manuel Neuer also made an error, passing the ball straight to an opponent, which allowed Madrid to score from the mistake.
