After his move to Liverpool last summer, winger Federico Chiesa has struggled to find his best form, featuring in just 14 matches for the Reds. The player himself has begun to reflect on his future.

Details: Chiesa admitted that he lost a lot by missing Juventus’ friendly matches, and in Liverpool he’s had to play catch-up. Despite the English club’s attitude, he may well consider a return to Italy.

Quote: “This is something to think about in the summer. My family, my agent, and I have a great relationship with Liverpool, and the goal is to be ready for pre-season. We’ll find the best solution for everyone. Every day I follow Liverpool’s program to be in top shape for the tests on July 8.

While I was out of the squad at Juventus, I managed to train in great condition, but I missed the friendlies. At Liverpool, I had to start from scratch, and that held me back. I hope next season will be mine. My dream is to play in the World Cup,” Chiesa told La Gazzetta dello Sport.
