Earlier, we reported that Chelsea is prepared to sell Conor Gallagher to Atlético Madrid. The captain of the team has shown no interest in this offer and wishes to remain with the London club; however, Chelsea's contract extension proposal does not meet his expectations.

To emphasize the seriousness of their intentions to sell Gallagher, the club has removed him from first-team training. According to the latest information from Marca, Chelsea has explicitly informed Gallagher that they do not plan to include him in their plans for the next season. Following this, they have given him 48 hours to make a decision, as reported by Matteo Moretto.

It is believed that Chelsea has already reached an agreement with Atlético Madrid regarding the transfer and is now awaiting the player's decision. The reported transfer fee is €45 million, while the player's contract is estimated at €5 million more, according to the statistical portal Transfermarkt.

Conor Gallagher is a product of Chelsea's youth academy and has been with the club since he was seven years old. He has always held a professional contract with the Blues but has been loaned out to other clubs, exclusively in England.

Last season, he made 50 appearances for Chelsea, scoring seven goals and providing nine assists.
