Chelle Hails Adams After Algeria Win

Super Eagles coach Eric Chelle praised Akor Adams after Nigeria’s 2-0 win over Algeria in Marrakesh on Saturday. Adams, who partnered Victor Osimhen, scored the second goal by rounding Luca Zidane and finishing calmly. Speaking after the match, Chelle said, “Like I said, the group is more important than the player”… adding that Adams “gives everything for his team, for his brothers.”

He also urged humility, noting, “The other players once again gave everything tonight for the group”… Adams now has four goals in nine internationals.
