French winger Florian Thauvin has received a call-up to the France national team for the upcoming Les Bleus training camp.
Details: Tottenham striker Randal Kolo Muani picked up an injury in the first half of the Premier League match against Manchester United, ruling him out of France’s upcoming 2026 World Cup qualifying fixtures.
In his place, attacking midfielder Florian Thauvin from Lens has been called up. Thauvin was already included in the squad for the October matches against Azerbaijan and Iceland—and even found the net against Azerbaijan, marking the second goal of his international career.
On November 13, France will host Ukraine, and just three days later, Didier Deschamps’ men head to Azerbaijan for an away clash with the local side.
Reminder: Former Lyon and France international Léo Dubois has retired at the age of 31.
