Championship side QPR looking to loan South African defender Tylon Smith to MLS side New England Revolution

Reports coming from England suggest Championship side Queens Park Rangers are looking to off-load South African international defender Tylon Smith.

QPR are running out of patience with the defender who joined them two seasons ago from Betway Premiership side Stellenbosch FC.

Smith has not been a regular starter and that has made it hard for the club to keep him while there could be loan options for the player.

His proposed move to New England Revolution is said to be a loan with an option to make the move permanent.

He was part of Bafana bafana's squad to the Africa Cup of Nations squad earlier this year under departed coach Hugo Broos.

And his move to the MLS is imminent.
