In the English Football League, numerous matches scheduled for January 4 will not take place due to unpredictable weather conditions.
In the Championship, the fixtures between Sheffield United and Oxford United, as well as Portsmouth and Ipswich Town, have already been called off. Now, the match between Hull City and Watford has also joined that list.
Hull announced on its official channels that the reason for the postponement was concerns over player safety. While the pitch itself is in playable condition, the areas surrounding the field have been deemed hazardous.
