Mokwena has become a highly sought-after coach for several clubs.

Details: According to SABC Sport, the 38-year-old Rulani Mokwena is waiting for the outcome of negotiations with Pyramids FC, and has therefore rejected an offer from Al Jandal, a club in Saudi Arabia’s second division. It is also reported that another club, Qatar’s Al Shahaniya, offered Mokwena the head coach position, but the South African specialist declined that as well.

It appears that Mokwena is waiting for Pyramids to part ways with their current manager, Krunoslav Jurić, who is expected to leave the team in the near future. Pyramids have become Mokwena’s top priority, largely due to their participation in the Champions League.

Mokwena remains in South Africa, having returned home after his stint at Wydad, where he spent nine months at the “Red Castle” alongside Sinethemba Badela, who has now taken charge of Chippa United.

Reminder: No Rulani Mokwena? Pyramids begin pre-season under Jurić
