Despite winning the CAF Champions League, there had been ongoing speculation about a potential coaching change at Pyramids. However, that no longer seems to be on the cards.

Details: Rumors linked Rulani Mokwena with the job, but according to Balad Nael Youm, Krunoslav Jurcic is set to lead Pyramids into the new season. He will remain in charge for the upcoming campaign.

Jurcic is scheduled to return to Egypt on July 5, and pre-season training will kick off the following week, on July 8. The Croatian coach recently met with the club’s management to discuss transfer plans.

As previously reported, the club’s board has been awaiting Krunoslav Jurcic’s return to make key decisions regarding several first-team players whose futures remain uncertain following the expiration of their loan deals.

Reminder: Last season, Pyramids won the CAF Champions League and finished second in the Egyptian Premier League, falling just one point short of the champions.
