Cedric Kaze sees this PSL's season as an improvement for Kaizer Chiefs compared to the previous campaign
Cedric Kaze sees an improvement from Kaizer Chiefs display compared to last season this time.
Kaze said the team is in a far healthier position this season than they were in the previous campaign.
Chiefs are second on the Betway Premiership standings following their victory against Marumo Gallants on Wednesday and that victory seems to have ignited the will to clinch the title.
“I would say that it’s a big win [against Marumo Gallants], away from home on a difficult field, but we didn’t want to complain about the field and feel sorry for ourselves,” Kaze said.
“We are a big team, we need to play in every condition that we find ourselves in. I would say that this is a big win, and from what I saw today [Wednesday], I don’t think there are a lot of teams that are going to win on that field.
“We go game by game. At the end of last season, we had 32 points after 28 games; now we are on 30 points with 25 games. I feel it’s a big improvement, but we still have a big room for improvement, and we are going to compete every game.”
Chiefs face Zesco United in a Caf Confederation Cup this weekend after winning 1-0 in Zambia last Sunday.
