Carlo Ancelotti described the UEFA Champions League match Union Berlin – Real Madrid as "strange"

The Whites finished the group stage with 18 out of 18 possible points, securing the top spot in the quartet.

Following the conclusion of the match, Real Madrid's coach, Carlo Ancelotti, commented on his team's victory:

"A peculiar game. We controlled it well for about 40 minutes, but then two crazy minutes complicated everything for us.

In the second half, we tried to be more efficient, frequently utilizing crosses from the flanks because we have a player who is excellent in heading and he scored twice.

Joselu has now scored 8 goals; he had a good start to the season and is crucial for us. When teams defend tightly, he helps us a lot with his characteristics.

Ceballos scored a well-deserved goal. He has been through a lot to come back, and he had a challenging period."
