Napoli dealt with Braga and advanced to the Champions League round of 16. Real Madrid defeated Union
On Tuesday, December 12, the sixth round matches of the UEFA Champions League Group C took place. Napoli hosted Braga, while Real visited Union Berlin.

Both teams were contenders for the knockout stage before the match commenced. The Neapolitans comfortably secured a two-goal lead before halftime. Saatchi, a defender for Braga, scored an own goal in the 9th minute. Osimhen furthered Napoli's lead by the half-hour mark. That final goal sealed the match. With 10 points, Napoli secured the second position, advancing to the Champions League round of 16. Braga, with four points, finishes third and will play in the Europa League in the spring.

Real Madrid had already secured the top spot in their group. Union Berlin needed a win to stand a chance for the third spot. The Creams were awarded a penalty in the 45th minute, yet Modric couldn't surpass the German team's goalkeeper from the spot. Berlin quickly responded with a precise strike from Kevin Folland. Real equalized in the 61st minute through Hoselu from a pass by Rodrigo. Hoselu scored again 11 minutes later. Union refused to relent and managed to level the score through Alex Kral. However, the final word belonged to Real Madrid as they clinched the win with a goal from Seballos. With 18 points, Real confirmed their status as the group's best, winning all six matches. Union finished at the bottom of the quartet with 2 points, missing out on European competitions in the spring.
