Therlo Moosa scored what is an important goal for Cape Town City in their bid to gain promotion to the Betway Premiership beating Milford FC 1-0 this afternoon.

Moosa netted in the last 10 minutes of the match at a packed Umhlathuze Sports Complex venue.

This win now brings City to three points in the PSL Promotion/Relegation Play-Off in Milford's maiden loss in the three-team mini league.

The Stallions remain on top of the standings with six points as they only needed a draw in this game to seal their place in the Betway Premiership next season.

They will feel let down by their lacklustre display in front of goal as they had opportunities to win this match but wasted them.

It was Moosa who stole the show with a tap six minutes before the end of the match from a left wing cross much to the joy of the visiting team.

Cape Town City face Magesi FC on Wednesday which is where they also need to get maximum points hoping Milford lose in their last match against the Limpopo side.
