Tensions are said to have risen at the Hammadi Agrebi Olympic Stadium in Radès, Tunisia, ahead of the second leg of the second preliminary round of the CAF Champions League between Club Africain and TP Mazembe, scheduled for this Sunday, 25 October at 5 pm GMT.

According to information from Micky Jnr, an insider in African football, a man was reportedly seen with an object or substance in the palm of his hand, apparently about to scatter it onto the pitch. He was then reportedly pushed back, causing scenes of confusion inside the Hammadi Agrebi Olympic Stadium.

These events come against an already tense backdrop surrounding this clash between the Tunisian club and the Congolese side. Following their arrival in Tunisia, TP Mazembe had reported disturbances caused by fans of the Tunisian club in the vicinity of their hotel.

The first leg, played in Lubumbashi, ended in a 1–1 draw, leaving both teams still in contention for a place in the group stage.
