Buffalo Pro Soccer has officially announced plans to build a 7,600-seat, privately funded soccer-specific stadium in the city’s Valley neighborhood, according to USLSoccer.com. Located at Elk and Lee Street near the Buffalo River, the stadium will anchor a new entertainment district in one of Buffalo’s most historic communities.
Set to begin construction this summer, the venue will include a safe-standing supporters’ section, 12 hospitality suites, private party areas, and club-level seating. The stadium will also feature training facilities, front-office space, and ample transportation options. “This stadium will be a place where Buffalo’s spirit comes alive,” said Peter Marlette Jr., club president.
In addition to serving as the home of Buffalo Pro Soccer, the venue will host concerts, youth academy matches, and a variety of community events. Notable investors include Buffalo Bills veteran Reid Ferguson and local business leader Jon M. Williams, who owns the stadium site.
Buffalo Pro Soccer, founded in 2024, will make its professional debut in the USL Championship in 2026. The new stadium will serve as a vital foundation for its launch into the second tier of American soccer.
Buffalo Mayor Christopher Scanlon praised the investment as a transformative step for the Valley neighborhood. With modular construction managed by top firms including LaBella Associates and Wendel Companies, the stadium is expected to open quickly and become a cultural and economic hub for the region.
