Oleksandr Usyk has vacated the IBF heavyweight title. Now, Anthony Joshua and Daniel Dubois will vie for it.

The Ukrainian boxer announced in a video message that this belt is important for AJ and Dubois, so he is gifting it to them. They will fight on September 21 to determine the new IBF heavyweight champion.

Let's recall that not long ago, Oleksandr Usyk submitted an official request to IBF President Daryl Peoples to allow him to keep the title. The head of IBF himself confirmed this information. Usyk asked to retain the IBF title until his rematch with Tyson Fury, scheduled for December 2024.

In the ninth round, Usyk knocked down Fury, the ropes and the corner saved the Briton from falling into the ring. The boxers are planning a rematch in the fall. Usik agreed to a rematch immediately after the fight in Riyadh.
