The Premier League has given six clubs time to sell several players in order to comply with financial fair play regulations.
According to Sky Sports, these clubs include Chelsea, Aston Villa, Newcastle, Everton, Nottingham Forest, and Leicester City. These clubs are currently under pressure.
It is worth noting that Manchester City has initiated legal proceedings against the English Premier League over alleged discrimination against the club. The Сity seeks to overturn the associated party transaction (APT) rule, which they deem unlawful.
It is worth recalling that Manchester City was suspected of violating 115 financial fair play rules by the Premier League, with all infractions recorded between 2009 and 2018, in February of last year. The club's management denies all accusations and is still awaiting the appointment of a date for the first hearing.
During the period of the allegations from 2009 to 2018, Manchester City won the league title four times, claimed the FA Cup twice, secured the League Cup four times, and won the Community Shield three times.
