Source: The news was reported by Swedish journalist Kathrine Krantz from “Expressen”, one of the first media to reveal Mbappé’s legal troubles in Sweden. She confirmed this in a comment to "BFMTV".
Quote: "I mean, we are 100% certain that Mbappé is a suspect in this rape case. There’s no doubt. Of course, we don’t know if he’s guilty. That’s for the prosecutor and police to investigate. But we are sure," Krantz stated.
Context: On Thursday, October 10, it was revealed that Kylian Mbappé had been at a nightclub in Sweden during the French national team's visit.
The alleged incident involving Mbappé took place after he returned to his hotel. Swedish police have confirmed that the footballer is involved in the case, but have not clarified whether he is being charged as a defendant.
