Breaking: Atlético Madrid and Arsenal reach agreement over star striker's transfer

Details: According to Jota Jordi, Atlético Madrid and Arsenal have reached an agreement over the transfer of Julián Álvarez. The clubs have settled on a fee of €50 million plus Viktor Gyökeres. Arsenal have not reached an agreement with Julián on personal terms, as he only wants to join Barcelona and is demanding that Atlético Madrid honour its promise.

Meanwhile, Arsenal have renewed contact over a potential transfer for Athletic Club and Spain winger Nico Williams.

Reminder: Arsenal have officially announced the signing of an 18-year-old centre-back. He joins the club as a free agent after leaving Tottenham.
