The "Bees" are gearing up for a transfer assault.

Details: According to the German portal FussBallDaten, Borussia Dortmund has set its sights on Manchester City’s 26-year-old forward Omar Marmoush.

Reports indicate that Dortmund views Marmoush as a quality, long-term solution to their striker issues, which have been troubling the club lately.

Borussia is preparing to make an official offer to the "Citizens" in the near future, which means Marmoush’s return to the Bundesliga could happen as early as this winter.

Omar Marmoush joined Manchester City in January 2025 from Eintracht for €75 million. This season, Marmoush has featured in 15 matches for Manchester City across all competitions, scoring 1 goal and providing 1 assist.

The Egyptian himself realizes it’s unlikely he’ll be able to compete with Haaland for a starting spot, so he’s open to leaving the team.

Marmoush’s current contract with City runs until 2029, and his transfer value is estimated by Transfermarkt at €65 million.
