Details: According to bookmakers, English champions Liverpool are the leading contenders to land the forward. The odds for the Merseysiders to sign Gyokeres stand at 2/1. Their main rivals include Arsenal, with odds of 9/4, and Manchester United at 4/1.
As for the potential transfer, Anfield Knowledge reported on their X page (formerly Twitter) that negotiations between the parties are already underway.
Reminder: Liverpool have already confirmed their first signing—Jeremie Frimpong. According to the press, Frimpong has signed a five-year contract with the newly crowned Premier League champions, while Bayer will receive €35 million for the transfer.
