Newcastle’s winger has caught the eye of several top clubs.
Details: According to TeamTalk, Liverpool are preparing to make an official bid to Newcastle for 25-year-old winger Anthony Gordon.
The report states that the Reds’ coaching staff have identified Gordon as their main candidate to replace the departing Mohamed Salah, who has already announced his exit.
In addition to Liverpool, Bayern Munich are also in the hunt for Gordon, and the German giants will now have to step up their efforts if they don’t want to miss out on their coveted attacking reinforcement.
The Magpies are ready to part ways with one of their key players, but are demanding no less than £75 million.
This season, Gordon has made 46 appearances for Newcastle, scoring 17 goals and providing 5 assists. His current deal with the Magpies runs until 2030, and according to Transfermarkt, his market value is €60 million.
