Honorary Bayern Munich president Uli Hoeneß continues to deliver fiery remarks following the club's triumphant German Cup final.

Details: According to The Touchline, the long-time Munich boss, in his trademark uncompromising and ironic style, emphatically shut down any rumors about the possible departure of the team's attacking talisman, Harry Kane—while also poking fun at Barcelona's ongoing financial struggles.

In an interview with reporters, Hoeneß was full of praise for the English striker, whose hat-trick secured the club's 21st domestic cup:

“Harry Kane is the best signing we've ever made in our history,” Hoeneß declared categorically.

When asked about Barcelona's serious interest in the striker, Hoeneß immediately went on the offensive, reminding everyone of Bayern's stature and the true situation in Catalonia.

"Bayern Munich is a buying club, not a selling club. Can I say with certainty that he’s staying? Yes, absolutely. Besides, Barcelona still don't have any money," the honorary president snapped back.

It's worth noting that this season, the English forward has played 51 matches for Bayern in all competitions, scoring 61 goals and providing 7 assists.

Reminder: José Mourinho attended the German Cup final to try to sign Bayern's star player—the club president has already responded.
