Beyond Mendes: PSG set to extend contracts of Hakimi, Vitinha, and Enrique

On the morning of Friday, February 7, PSG reached an agreement to extend Nuno Mendes' contract. However, their renewal plans are far from over.

Details: According to insider Fabrizio Romano, the Parisians are preparing to extend the contracts of midfielder Vitinha, full-back Achraf Hakimi, and head coach Luis Enrique. Journalist Fabrice Hawkins of RMC added that Enrique’s new deal will run until 2027.

Earlier, it was reported that PSG’s head coach Luis Enrique did not hold back on his assessment of former star Kylian Mbappé, stating outright that the team has improved since his departure.

Recent reports suggest that PSG has set its sights on Real Madrid’s Rodrygo as a potential target.

Reminder: The French Cup quarterfinal draw has already taken place. Tournament favorites PSG will face fourth-division sensation Stade Briochin, who stunned Nice in the previous round, for a place in the semifinals.
