Bellingham's unique goal secured England's victory over Serbia in the first match of Euro 2024

In the first round of the group stage of Euro 2024, the England national team faced Serbia.
The "Three Lions" entered the continental championship as one of the main favorites, while the Serbs were considered a "dark horse."
The first half saw a largely balanced game, with England having a slight edge in shots and ball possession. This strategy paid off: in the 13th minute, Real Madrid forward Jude Bellingham opened the scoring, assisted by Arsenal's star Bukayo Saka.
Notably, Bellingham's goal set a unique record for English national team players.
There were no goals in the second 45 minutes, despite all the efforts of the participants. The result was a minimal victory for England.
After today's match, England will play two more group stage games: against Denmark on June 20th and Slovenia on June 25th.
In another Group C match, Slovenia and Denmark ended in a draw.
