Real Madrid goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois reported to the Belgian national team’s camp, despite the Madrid club stating he had no chance of featuring in any of the upcoming matches. After Real’s draw with Rayo Vallecano, the club announced that Courtois had been diagnosed with a right adductor muscle injury.

Details: According to Marca, Courtois arrived at the Red Devils’ training center, where Belgian team doctors conducted their own examination and confirmed that the keeper truly wouldn't be able to help the squad.

After that, the player immediately returned to Madrid to continue his recovery at the Valdebebas training base. Real’s objective is to have Courtois back in action for the clash against Elche, scheduled for November 23.

Meanwhile, Belgium is gearing up for two decisive World Cup 2026 qualifiers—away to Kazakhstan and at home against Liechtenstein. The team needs just one win to secure its spot.

Reminder: Endrick is close to joining Lyon.
