Star Indian batter Suryakumar Yadav has sparked massive rumors of his exit by taking drastic action on social media.

Details: According to Indian Cricket, the longtime leader and vice-captain of the Mumbai Indians has unfollowed the official Instagram account of his franchise. But that’s not all—the cricketer went to extremes, launching a complete purge of his profile: he deleted every photo, video, and media post even remotely connected to the Mumbai franchise.

Along with the mass content deletion, Yadav made sweeping changes to his personal bio, erasing any mention of Mumbai or the Mumbai Indians from his profile description.

It’s worth noting that Suryakumar is going through a rough patch: after a disappointing IPL 2026 season—scoring just 270 runs and seeing his team finish 9th—the batter was stripped of the T20 India national team captaincy and dropped from the squad altogether.

Reminder: The IPL may be split into two parts.
