Group C Dynamics

While Nigeria's struggled in qualification, their recent 2 - 0 win over Rwanda's played into Bafana’s hands helping them maintain their 2 point lead. However Broos's warned against complacency, highlighting Nigeria’s resurgence under new coach Eric Chelle.

With Nigeria facing Zimbabwe & Bafana taking on Benin in Abidjan, the group standings could shift dramatically, win for South Africa would strengthen their grip on qualification while loss could open the door for Nigeria to close the gap.
