Given that Barcelona aims to make at least one major signing this summer, they need to execute a significant sale. The Catalan club considered many players for sale but has recently focused on a new team member. This refers to Vitor Roque, who joined the Blaugrana only six months ago.

The Brazilian has not met Barcelona's expectations and has failed to secure a place in Xavi Hernandez's squad. This situation is unlikely to change under Hansi Flick's management, so selling him is considered the best option for the club.

There was earlier interest from Saudi Arabian club Al-Hilal and Italian club Lazio. The Italian club was considered the best option for the young talent. However, Lazio's offer of €20 million for 50% of the Brazilian's rights did not satisfy Barcelona.

According to the Spanish publication Sport, the Catalan club wants to receive at least €40 million for the player. This amount would allow Barcelona to earn about €9 million compared to his purchase from Atlético Paranaense for €31 million, and also open up opportunities for the desired acquisitions in the transfer market.

Barcelona continues to await offers for Vitor Roque. At the very least, they hope for a favorable deal with Al-Hilal, although the Brazilian has stated that he does not intend to move to the Middle East. The situation with Roque has become very problematic for the Catalans. They surely want to get rid of him quickly, although the Brazilian will likely try to leave the team on his own terms.
