Barcelona is ready to sell the young Brazilian, his lover just six months ago

Given Barcelona's financial situation, the club will need to sell some players in order to acquire new ones. With the Catalan club's interest in Nico Williams and Dani Olmo, they will likely need to raise a significant amount of money.

There have been numerous reports about potential sales from Barcelona, but a new, rather unexpected option has emerged. According to the Spanish publication Sport, Barcelona is ready to part ways with young Brazilian talent Vitor Roque.

The 19-year-old forward joined the Catalan club just six months ago, in January. Many fans were eagerly anticipating this transfer, but the Brazilian has failed to secure a regular spot in the lineup. In the second half of the season, he made only sixteen appearances, starting just twice.

It seems that Vitor Roque has not met the club's expectations, and they are willing to let him go. There are already suitors for the player, with Lazio and Al-Hilal showing interest. The Saudi club is reportedly ready to offer a significantly higher sum, while the Italian club is seen as a better fit for the player. Lazio has already made an offer to Barcelona for a one-year loan with an option to buy at the end of next season. Barcelona has not yet responded, as they are waiting for proposals from Al-Hilal.

The situation with Vitor Roque is quite unfortunate for both the player and the club. Barcelona likely saw him as a potential future asset, but he has not lived up to expectations, nor the €40 million spent on him. His talent has been overshadowed by the outstanding performances of Lamine Yamal, who, at a younger age, has shown far better results.

It is highly probable that Vitor Roque will be wearing a different club's jersey next season, although it remains unclear which club that will be.
