"Barcelona fans can expect great things": Pedri on his new contract with the Blaugrana

Barcelona officially announced today that Spanish midfielder Pedri has extended his contract with the Catalan club for another five years. His new deal will run until 2030.

The Spanish playmaker did not hide his joy at committing his future to the club.

Quote. "I'm very happy to extend my contract, and right now, I’m exactly where I want to be. It’s been a long time since I’ve enjoyed football this much. Now we need to regain our confidence on the pitch and win titles. This Barcelona team is built for that.

We have a very young squad, and in a few years, we will be even better. Barcelona fans can expect great things," Pedri said.

Reminder. We recently reported that Barcelona has also reached a verbal agreement with Gavi on a new deal that will run until June 2031. His contract will include a €1 billion release clause.
