Barcelona continues its efforts to secure the long-term future of its young talents, and this time, it's Pedri who has committed his future to the club.
Details: The club has officially announced that the 22-year-old Spanish midfielder has signed a contract extension for another five years, keeping him at Barcelona until 2030.
We recently reported that Barcelona has also reached a verbal agreement with Gavi on a new deal that will run until June 2031. His contract will include a €1 billion release clause.
Reminder: At 17 years and 200 days old, Lamine Yamal has become the second player under 18 to score two Champions League goals, following Ansu Fati, who netted his second goal at 17 years and 355 days against Ferencváros in 2020.
Barcelona scored their 100th goal under Flick in a 7-1 victory against Valencia last Sunday. Barça scored 58 goals in La Liga, 26 in the Champions League, 9 came in Spanish Cup matches and another 7 in the Super Cup.
