Arsenal lose yet another player to injury.

Details: According to The Sun, the 28-year-old central defender for London’s Arsenal, Ben White, underwent a medical examination today which revealed he will be out for around five weeks with a hamstring injury.

Last Saturday, White started for the Gunners in their Premier League Matchweek 16 clash against Wolverhampton, but was forced off in the 31st minute due to discomfort in his knee.

Following today’s assessment, it’s clear that Arteta has lost another defender to injury for a significant period.

Arsenal’s injury list also includes Mosquera, Magalhães, Havertz, and Douman.

The match itself ended in a 2-1 victory for Arsenal, allowing the Gunners to retain top spot in the league standings.

Earlier, White had missed the start of the season due to injury and spent a long time recovering. So far, he has featured in just 11 matches across all competitions, providing one assist.

Reminder: "We took a risk, but it turned out to be the wrong decision" - Arteta comments on White's injury
