Jamil Benouahi may soon be history at Marumo Gallants.

The Moroccan coach has not had the best of starts to his tenure as the Gallants head coach in the Betway Premiership.

If there’s anything, Gallants’ survival chances are hanging by a thread as they are now second from bottom on the PSL standings.

Marumo Gallants have same number of points as 14th placed Magesi FC, 21, but the Limpopo side have a better goal difference abd both teams have four games remaining this season.

The coach arrived at the Mangaung club at the end of March taking over from Frenchman, Alexandre Lafitte, to improve the team’s fortunes.

But it seems as though that has not gone well as they have struggled further.

His maiden game in charge saw Gallants lose 3-0 to relegation threatened side Magesi FC and this is something which irked the club hierarchy.

He was absent in the team draw against another team in the relegation quagmire, Orbit College, which has raised eyebrows on his future with the club.

Speculation on his future is now on the overdrive even though Gallants are yet to indicate where to for the Moroccan-born tactician.
