Atletico Madrid is considering a transfer for the central defender from Al Nassr
Atletico Madrid, having recently signed Robin Le Normand as a central defender, is now seeking a partner for him.
Matteo Moretto, a journalist from Relevo, reports that Atletico has shown interest in Al Nassr's central defender, Aymeric Laporte. The Madrid club has already inquired about the Spanish player and has included him on their shortlist.
The player is willing to accept a significant salary reduction to return to Spain. However, Atletico is currently focusing on strengthening their midfield and attack, so Aymeric Laporte may need to wait.
Additionally, Manchester City has positively responded to Atletico Madrid's recent offer for forward Julián Álvarez. True, the deal includes a guaranteed payment of €75 million rather than the previously reported €70 million. Another 20 million euros are provided in the form of bonuses.
