Another transfer saga of the summer transfer window is nearing its conclusion. The clubs have finally agreed a transfer deal.
According to Sky Sports, Manchester City have responded positively to Atletico Madrid's recent offer for forward Julian Alvarez.
True, the deal includes a guaranteed payment of €75 million rather than the previously reported €70 million. Another 20 million euros are provided in the form of bonuses.
In total, the transfer of Alvarez could cost Atletico 95 million euros, which would be a record sale for Manchester City.
Part of the deal, namely in the region of 17 million euros, will receive River Plate, from which in January 2022, the Argentine and moved to Pep Guardiola's team.
It is learnt that the personal terms of Alvarez's stay at Atletico still need to be agreed, but it is believed that this will not be a major problem.
