Arum revealed when the fight between Gervonta and Lomachenko could take place

Promoter Bob Arum has revealed that a fight between Gervonta Davis and Vasiliy Lomachenko could take place in November if the parties can reach an agreement.

“This will be a fight in Vegas, at either MGM or T-Mobile Arena. We will determine the date when there are no other events,” Arum said.

On the night of June 15-16 at the MGM Grand Arena in Las Vegas, USA, a major boxing event took place. In the main event, reigning WBA lightweight world champion Gervonta Davis faced challenger and compatriot Frank Martin.

In the title bout, Gervonta defeated the challenger by knockout in the eighth round.

In May, Lomachenko defeated George Kambosos. In the eleventh round, the Ukrainian knocked out his opponent with a precise jab.

This fight marked Lomachenko’s first in a year. In May 2023, he lost to Devin Haney by decision for the title of undisputed world champion.
