Arteta Seeks Reinforcements. Arsenal Plans £90 Million Move for Mohammed Kudus
Arsenal is considering West Ham midfielder Mohammed Kudus as a potential replacement for Leandro Trossard, who may transfer to Saudi club Al-Ittihad.
Details: The Gunners have long been interested in Kudus and previously tried to sign him in August last year. Now, Arsenal has once again turned its attention to the Ghanaian player, according to the Mirror. The Ghanaian midfielder is expected to replace Trossard, who has been underperforming lately and may move to Saudi Arabia as early as the winter transfer window.
The publication also notes that Kudus's potential value could be around £90 million. Kudus still has nearly four years left on his contract with West Ham. Meanwhile, Trossard's contract with Arsenal expires in 18 months.
Reminder: Kudus recently found himself at the center of controversy when he struck two players during a match against Tottenham and received a straight red card. The Football Association has charged Kudus with misconduct, and he may face an additional ban on top of his current three-match suspension.
