"Arteta needs help": Arsenal legend urges board to make winter transfers

The loss of Bukayo Saka has exacerbated Arsenal's attacking issues, culminating in a painful 0-2 defeat to Newcastle. Arsenal legend Ian Wright believes the team urgently needs reinforcements in the transfer market.

Details: Former Arsenal striker Ian Wright has warned that without a new forward, Mikel Arteta’s side could face serious problems moving forward.

Quote: "Now you have to look at the board. I don’t know what you’re going to do, but you’ve got to try to do something. Arteta needs help. I know it’s very difficult to acquire players in the January window, but he needs something else because if this continues, it’s going to be very hard to score.

We’re not scoring from corners, we’re not scoring from the chances we create—something has to change. Something has to happen," Wright told Caught Offside.
